KOTTAYAM: 13th Dhukhrono of Perumpally Mor Gregorious Geevarghese, former president of Holy Episcopal Synod of Malankara and Metropolitan of Kottayam Diocece will be celebrated at St Joseph's JSO Cathedral, Kottayam along with the memory of St Ignatius Elias III, Mor Julius Elias of Manjanikkara and Mor Thimotheos Yakoob - first metropolitan of liturgical seminary in Malankara on Sunday, 26th February 2012. H.G. Mor Alexandrios Thomas will be the chief celebrant. St Joseph's Cathedral Kottayam is the result of profound struggle and hardwork of Mor Gregorious of Perumpally for a centre of Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Christians in Kottayam Town. The great warrior for Antiochean True Faith in Malankara, Mor Gregorious entered the eternal life on 22nd February of 1999, the remembrance day of establishment of St Peter's succession throne in Antioch and HG's dhukhrono is celebrated since then at the Cathedral.
