Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal, the Vicar of
St. Mary’ s Jacobite Syrian Church,
Poothamkutty hoisted perunal flag
for the Feast of Manjanikkara Bava.
As part of First Saturday
observation, Holy Qurbono was
offered on Saturday, the 4th
February 2012 at 8.15 am followed
by special mediatory prayer to St.
Mary, the Mother of God, Nercha
distribution and flag hoisting. In the
evening, after sandhyaprarthana
at.6. 30, Manjanikkara Bava
Memorial talk was held. On Sunday,
the 5th February Perunal Qurbono
will be held at 8.15 am. Fr. Alias Ipe
Parackal will be the chief officiate.
Patriarchal flag will be hoisted by
the Vicar after the Holy Qurbono,
marking the beginning of
Patriarchal Day celebrations.
