ANGAMALY: The elementary
prayer meeting and Bible
Convention was held at Mor Ignatius
JSO Church, Cheriyavappalassery,
Angamaly South on Monday, the
27th February 2012 formally
declaring the beginning of
Angamaly region Great Bible
Convention and Charity activities.
Rev.Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal, Director
of the Regional Youth Mission
delivered the Gospel Message
urging the faithful to get ready for
an expedition with Holy Scripture
and renewed spirit and thereby own
a prized Lenten experience this year
during the Great Lenten period.
Rev.Fr. Ittoop Alukkal, the Vicar of
the Mor Ignatius church welcomed
the gathering. V. Rev. Geevarghese
Areeckal cor-episcopo, the Convener
made the introductory address.
Rev.Fr. Paul Paracka, V. Rev.
Sakaria Ramban Alukkal and Rev.Fr.
George Varghese attended the
meeting. The Regional Bible
Convention will be held from 29th
February to 4th March. H.G.Mor
Coorilos Geevarghese, Metropolitan
of the Niranam Diocese will present
a paper on Missionary aspects of the
Church on 4 th March at St.Mary’s
JSO Cathedral, Angamaly .
